RESEARCH ON AXIAL COMPRESSION PERFORMANCE OF HOT-ROLLED STEEL COMPOSITE COLUMNS BASED ON ABAQUS
Ten finite element models are established by using ABAQUS to investigate the load-bearing performance of hot-rolled composite columns with different cross-sectional forms. The influence of aspect ratio and bolt spacing on the axial compression performance of the composite columns is analyzed. The results show that the ultimate bear-ing capacity of the assembled column is slightly lower than that of the entire column with the same cross-section. When the bolt spacing increases to 80i,the bearing capacity of the assembled column decreases to 80%of the entire column. The slenderness ratio and bolt spacing have a significant impact on the bearing capacity of the assembled column, and the ultimate bearing capacity of the assembled column gradually decreases with the increase of the slen-derness ratio and bolt spacing.
