STUDY ON THE ROAD PERFORMANCE OF MINERAL POWDER ASPHALT MORTAR WITH DIFFERENT FILLER-BITUMEN RATIOS
The performance of asphalt mortar directly affects the pavement performance of asphalt mixture as as-phalt mortar that is as an important component of asphalt mixture. In order to analyze the effectiveness of different filler-bitumen ratios on performance of asphalt mortar, dynamic shear rheological test(DSR)is conducted to study high-temperature rheological properties of asphalt mortar by using rutting factor.Full temperature and full frequen-cy scanning tests are conducted to study dynamic viscoelastic properties of asphalt mortar by using complex modulus main curve, indicating that high-temperature performance of asphalt mortar increases with the increase of filler-bitu-men ratio.Bending beam rheometer(BBR)is employed to study low-temperature performance of asphalt mortar by using bending stiffness modulus and creep rate, indicating that low-temperature performance of asphalt mortar de-creases with the increase of filler-bitumen ratio. In order to analyze influence of the amount of mineral powder on construction temperature, viscosity of asphalt mortar is measured by rotary viscometer and the construction tempera-ture is calculated according to the viscosity requirements during construction. As the filler-bitumen ratio increases, the high-temperature performance is enhanced, whereas the low-temperature performance decreases. It is advisable to control filler-bitumen ratio between 1.0 and 1.2 considering the construction requirements.
