RESEARCH ON MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF GRID CONE HEAD BASED ON MACHINING DEVIATION
A finite element model of 180 mm×120/35 mm is established by numerical simulation to study the influ-ence of machining deviation on the mechanical properties of the cone head. The influence of thickness of the cone head baseplate, the contact area between the high-strength bolt and the cone base plate, the non-axial force, and the uneven wall thickness of the cone head on the bearing capacity and failure mode of the cone head are discussed. The influence of different deviations on the bearing capacity and failure mode of the cone head is obtained. According to the analysis results,it is suggested that the thickness of the cone head bottom plate is not allowed to have negative deviation. The matching of the size of the bolt end and the size of the base plate is optimized, and the verticality after the cone head welding is checked,in which the center offset of the cone head should not exceed 5 mm,providing support for the accurate assessment of the load carrying capacity of the cone.
