ANALYSIS OF THE INFLUENCE OF MUD SKIN ON THE LATERAL RESISTANCE OF FOUNDATION PILE BASED ON STACKING METHOD
This paper studies the influence of mud skin on the side resistance of foundation piles. The static loading tests of pile foundation are carried out on the pile foundation pile of 3 foundation piles of a project in Guizhou. The influence of mud skin on the side resistance of foundation pile is analyzed from the aspects of load-settlement curve, load transfer law,and measured results. The results show that the pile side resistance of the friction end bearing pile is one step ahead of the pile end resistance, and the upper end side resistance is one step ahead of the lower side re-sistance. It is proposed that the measured lateral resistance of the weathered dolomite is close to or even greater than the upper limit of the standard empirical range value when the dry operation of the friction end bearing pile is rotat-ed into a hole without mud skin, and the lateral resistance with mud skin can only be exerted to 36.4%~45.5%with-out mud skin. The lateral resistance of the pile can be fully exerted by controlling the mud skin of the hole wall. The research results may provide the reference for the quality control, bearing capacity calculation, and similar research of foundation pile construction of similar projects in the future.
