RESEARCH ON COUPLED ENERGY-SAVING RENOVATION OF HOT AND HUMID ENVIRONMENT AT RAILWAY STATIONS IN SEVERE COLD REGIONS
Under the ambit of the dual carbon targets, the inadequacies in energy efficiency development for rural buildings need to be addressed.Taking Yantongtun railway station in Du'erbote as the case, this study explores ener-gy-saving retrofit strategies for rural architectures in Northeast China, addressing the inadequacies in energy effi-ciency development for rural buildings.By integrating considerations of the rural environment, residential habits, and economic costs, measures are implemented, including augmenting insulation layers, incorporating passive solar rooms, and optimizing the outdoor environment.Through simulation analysis via green building studio software, the results indicate that the retrofitted station achieves approximately 35%annual energy savings, with an increase of 10℃in indoor temperature during winter, thereby effectively enhancing both building energy efficiency and occu-pant comfort. This study provides practical insights into the energy-saving retrofit of rural buildings and contributes to advancing the development of green buildings in rural areas.
