INFLUENCE OF FAULT INCLINATION ON THE WATER SURGE LAW OF SUBWAY TUNNELS
This paper studies the influence of fault inclination on tunnel surge water during subway tunnel excava-tion.Taking Jingsha interval of Qingdao Metro Line 4 as the case, the tunnel excavation process under different fault inclinations is simulated by numerical simulation to analyze the response law in the excavation process. The analysis results show that with the gradual reduction of tunnel fault inclination, the surface settlement of different monitoring lines increases with the increase of the thickness of the fault underneath with obvious change. The shear stress in the fault area is large, but the overall change is not big with the decrease of fault inclination. The low-pressure area of the pore water increases with the decrease of fault inclination,in which the seepage speed is accelerated, easily re-sulting in the tunnel surge water accident, therefore the tunnel should be supported well in time for the construction of the different fault inclination. The study may provide the reference for the influence of different fault inclination on the law of water surge in subway tunnels, the safety and stability of tunnel excavation, and the safety warning and disaster prevention.
