THE RENOVATION AND REINFORCEMENT DESIGN OF A CERTAIN MUSEUM BY ADDING MEZZANINE
Taking a renovation project of adding mezzanines to a museum as the case,we study the impact of differ-ent connection forms on the seismic performance of the structure and the comfort of heavy bionic machines walking on the floor.The study shows that prioritizing hinged joints between the adding mezzanine and the original structure reduce the amount of reinforcement work.The floor vibration can be improved by increasing the rigidity of the steel beams.We also introduce the pile foundation reinforcement technology and the connection between steel beams and type-steel concrete columns,for reference in similar renovation projects.
