IDENTIFICATION OF URBAN FUNCTIONAL AREAS AND CALCULATION OF FUNCTIONAL MIX USING POI DATA
The current state of urban functional area identification involves integrating traditional research methods with big data.Taking the central urban area of Hefei as the study object and using POI(Points of Interest)data as the basis, this study preprocesses the data and assigns corresponding weights to various indicators.By applying methods such as frequency density, type proportion, and absolute information entropy, the study identifies the urban land functions within unit grids and calculates the functional mix of urban land. The results show that the functional land use in the central area of Hefei presents an overall'central+radial'spatial layout.Commercial, residential, road fa-cilities,and public service facilities exhibit relatively concentrated density distribution cores, while industrial and green space land uses show dispersed spatial characteristics.Mixed-use areas are primarily concentrated in the city center, with a gradual decrease in functional mix and land intensity as one moves outward from the center.Compara-tive tests indicate that the overall identification results are satisfactory. This research provides theoretical references and practical foundations for enhancing the intensive development of urban land and promoting mixed land use in cities.
