CONSTRUCTION AND ANALYSIS OF AGE-FRIENDLY OUTDOOR SEATING INDICATORS FOR OLD RESIDENTIAL AREAS IN HARBIN
The development of age-friendly outdoor seating indicators provides a practical basis for improving out-door activities and landscape quality in aging residential areas of Harbin.This paper begins with a field survey of outdoor seating in old residential neighborhoods in Harbin to identify existing issues,and then uses a questionnaire survey to gauge elderly individuals'satisfaction with the outdoor seating.By combining domestic and international in-dicator systems,the study establishes and refines preset indicators to create age-friendly update criteria for outdoor seating in old residential areas.Finally,the paper employs behavioral observation and questionnaire survey methods to evaluate these indicators.Based on the evaluation results,recommendations for updating age-friendly outdoor seating in old residential areas are proposed,the developed indicators can effectively guide the design of age-friend-ly outdoor seating updates in Harbin's aging residential neighborhoods.
