STUDY ON THE IMPACT OF WASTE GLASS ON THE PERFORMANCE OF COAL GANGUE CONCRETE
To achieve the reuse of solid waste such as coal gangue and waste glass while reducing the use of natural aggregates and cement, this study employs glass sand and glass powder as additives, replacing natural river sand and cement in coal gangue concrete through both single and composite incorporation. The research shows that glass pow-der improves the workability of coal gangue concrete. The addition of glass sand significantly enhances the early strength of the concrete, with a 20%replacement rate achieving the highest compressive strength of about 5.6%high-er than the control group at 7 days.Additionally, glass powder contributes to the later strength development by reduc-ing internal pores and cracks, increasing the generation of hydration products, and creating a denser internal struc-ture,thereby enhancing the overall performance of coal gangue concrete.
