STUDY ON SOIL AND WATER LOSS OF SOIL-STONE MIXED PILES UNDER RAINFALL CONDITIONS
In regions with soil-stone mixed piles, the impact of rainfall has increasingly exacerbated soil erosion and water loss issues. This study explores the characteristics of soil and water loss under rainfall conditions, focusing on aspects such as intensified soil erosion, increased surface runoff, ecological degradation, and loss of land resourc-es.To investigate the erosion characteristics of soil-stone mixed piles, artificial rainfall simulations were conducted to study the runoff and sediment yield during the erosion process of different mixed pile configurations. The findings indicate that water loss accelerates the processes of soil erosion and loss, leading to the depletion of topsoil fertility.Additionally,it generates significant surface runoff, which further intensifies the rate of soil loss, resulting in a sus-tained depletion of land resources.
