DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF AN ULTRA-TALL STRUCTURE WITH A U-SHAPED PLAN IN ZHUHAI
A residential apartment building in Zhuhai has a total height of 152 meters,classifying it as an ultra-tall structure of super B-level height.The building features a frame-shear wall structure with a transfer structure.The plan is a typical U-shape,presenting several irregularities including torsional irregularity,irregularities in concavity and convexity,and discontinuity of vertical components.To verify the reliability and safety of the structural design,the study employed YJK and ETABS for overall structural analysis and elastic time-history analysis,and used Per-form-3D for nonlinear dynamic time-history analysis under strong seismic conditions.The results indicate that the structural system is safe and reliable.With targeted reinforcement measures,the structure overall meets the antici-pated seismic performance objectives.
