Research progess on multi stage Stirling type pulse tube cryocooler below 20 K
In the design of pulse tube cryocoolers,the application of the phase shifter is crucial,aiming to make the mass flow and pressure in phase close to the middle of the regenerator,thereby effectively reducing regenerator losses and enhancing the efficiency of the cryocooler.This paper summarized the applications of various phase shifters in multi-stage pulse tube cryo-coolers and reviewed the research trends and progress in Stirling-type pulse tube cryocoolers operating at or below 20 K over the past fifteen years.Furthermore,this paper also outlined the future application prospects and potential technical development di-rections for multi-stage Stirling-type pulse tube cryocoolers.
