Structural design and development of cryogenic system for 1.5 T superconducting magnet
According to the design requirements of superconducting magnet in plasma engine and its cryogenic system,the design scheme of the cryogenic system was described.Then the structural strength analysis of the main components of the cryo-genic system was performed by using ANSYS software.The low-temperature thermal load of the superconducting magnet system was calculated.A testing platform was set up for conducting electrical tests on the superconducting magnet.The results indicate that the design scheme for the cryogenic system for superconducting magnetis is feasible,the selection of the refrigerator is accu-rate,and the temperatures of the various structures in the cryogenic system are maintained stably during testing,which satisfy the expected target.
