Structural safety analysis of CFETR cryostat under seismic accident
Structural analysis of CFETR cryostat was performed based on its full-size engineering design model under seis-mic accidents of SL1(seismic level 1),SMHV(Séismes maximaux historiquement vraisemblables)and SL2(seismic level 2)by the equivalent acceleration method.The results show that the deformation is relatively uniform on the whole circumference,with an inner concave of about 60 mm in the center of base section.Under the influence of atmospheric pressure,the shell components bear high membrane stress,while the supporting components mainly bear large bending stress.The safety assessment demon-strates that the maximum stress does not exceed the allowable stress of double-standard 304/304L stainless steel in each seismic condition,which verifies the rationality and safety of cryostat structure and provides reference for subsequent optimization and manufacture work.
