SQUID is one of the most sensitive magnetic sensors, which can be applied in various fields such as geophysics, mineral resources exploration, scientific research and military applications. In this paper,a first-order SQUID planar gradiome-ter was used to construct the full-tensor gradiometer and an unbalance compensation algorithm was used to compensate the full-tensor gradiometer.A full tensor model for simulation was built based SQUID measuring principle. The results show that the algo-rithm can effectively reduce the noise introduced by the unbalance degree in different test environments. The full tensor gradiome-ter can provide the stable output of 9 channels of data, including 6 first-order SQUID planar gradiometers and 3 SQUID magne-tometers.The magnetic gradient data is superior to the earth's environmental magnetic field, and the system is beneficial for mag-netic gradient measurement applications.
