Abstract
As a by-product of monomer production in silicone,monomethyl trichlorosilane is a widely used industrial chem-ical,which is mainly used as raw material to produce chemical products such as silane crosslinking agent,methyl silicone resin,methyl phenyl silicone resin and waterproof agent.The physical and chemical properties,main application fields and purification methods of methyltrichlorosilane are mainly introduced,and relevant research suggestions of methyltrichlorosi-lane are put forward,which can provide reference for relevant scientific researchers.
