人工智能的快速发展及其广泛应用正驱动着产业创新与全球经济社会的进步,但AI模型参数的急剧增加导致能源消耗上升,引发了对其可持续性和环境影响的关切。为预防智算中心能耗井喷式增长,保障AI技术长远可持续发展,本文首先分析了AI模型的发展趋势以及智算能耗足迹,给出了一套科学合理的智算中心能效测量、评价方法,并据此提出一系列能效优化方案,以期望为智算中心的建设、运维提供有价值参考,进而推动数字经济发展。
Energy efficiency measurement and evaluation method and optimization strategy for intelligent computing center
The rapid development and broad application of artificial intelligence are driving industrial innovation and global socio-economic progress.However,the sharp increase in AI model parameters has led to rising energy consumption,raising concerns about its sustainability and environmental impact.To address the potential surge in energy usage by these centers and ensure the sustainable development of AI technology,this paper first analyzes the energy footprint of AI and its evolving trends.It then introduces a scientific and systematic method for measuring and evaluating the energy efficiency of intelligent centers.Based on this analysis,a series of energy efficiency optimization strategies are proposed,offering valuable insights for the construction and operation of intelligent centers,and ultimately supporting the growth of the digital economy.
