Influence of Segment Rust Crack on Bearing Performance of Shield Tunnel Structure
The primary structural components of the shield tunnel are its segments, and the corrosion of internal steel reinforcement significantly affects the mechanical properties of the shield tunnel structure.Steel bar rust swelling and corrosion will not only cause local performance to suffer, but may even put the safety of subway operation in jeopardy. In this study,a computation model of the shield tunnel's structural details is built, and the model's accuracy is checked using a full-scale shield tunnel experiment.Based on this,it is investigated how steel bar corrosion affects shield tunnel structures with various through-joint assembly forms' ability to carry loads. The main conclusions include:1.The degree of corrosion of steel bars has a significant impact on the tensile strength damage of segments, and the damage range increases with time;2.With time, longitudinal joints between segments become more porous;the size of the opening increases with time;3.When the capping block is directly above,it is the least favorable for lateral convergence of the shield structure, and the larger the deflection.
