从电影文学看东西方跨文化交际——以电影《金陵十三钗》梦断奥斯卡为例

电影《金陵十三钗》以深刻隽永的手法讲述了在南京大屠杀背景下一段鲜为人知的故事,是张艺谋导演花费巨资耗时四年拍摄的一部影片,在国内引起强烈共鸣,是中国电影迈出国门,欲征服奥斯卡的一次强力出击,公众在艺术上及商业上对其寄予厚望.然而,此片却被奥斯卡最佳外语片拒之门外,在海外票房上也遭遇惨败,引起了学界里中西文化差异大讨论.本文通过分析《金陵十三钗》冲奥失败的文化层面的原因,探讨其在跨文化交际过程中遇到的的暗礁,通过电影文学讨论中西方文化差异.
Abstract
Film The Flowers of War tells a little-known story against the back ground of Nanjing Massacre in a profound and obscure way.It is a large-budget and time-consuming production,which has a good domestic reputation,and is a try to competein the international market as a Chinese representative to win the Oscar Award.But surprisingly it was refused by American critics and was a total failure in the overseas box office.This arouses an intense discussion about cultural differences between China and the Western countries.This paper aims to talk about the conflicts in inter-cultural communication through analyzing the reasons of the film's failure in competing for the Academy Awards in acultural level,and to study the cultural differences and difficulties Chinese films are facing on the way to the international film market in the light of film literature.
