Abstract
This paper makes a brief analysis of suffix - ee as a noun suffix,which includes the discussions about its etymolo-gy,the semantic meaning and the word -formation rules.83 nouns are randomly selected from dictionaries.It is known that - ee is a very common but productive suffix.It is always used to create new words and used in the conversation.So at the end of the paper, the reasons of the meaning of - ee nouns are also listed.
