Research on Information Behaviors from the AI Empowerment Perspective—Summary of the 2023 Annual Conference on Information Behavior Research
On December 23-24,2023,the 2023 Annual Conference on Information Behavior Research was held at Peking University,with more than 200 participants from over 70 universities across China.The theme of this year's conference is"Research on Information Behaviors from the AI Empowerment perspec-tive".The agenda of the conference include keynote speeches,panel discussions,poster presentations,sub-forum oral presentation of full papers,and a workshop on eyetracking method,to conduct in-depth discus-sions on theoretical innovation,method application,situational expansion,humanistic care,social develop-ment,and other aspects of information behavior research in the new wave of artificial intelligence(AI)technology.The article summarizes the academic achievements and main viewpoints of the participants,providing theoretical enlightenment and research guidance for the exploration and innovation of information behavior research.
