为学术交流而开放:哈佛大学开放获取模式及启示

高校作为学术研究的重要阵地,近年来在学术成果开放获取方面展开了诸多实践探索.哈佛大学是学术研究全球领先的高等学府,在推进本校开放获取上有着丰富的经验,已形成一定的国际影响力.文章通过半结构式访谈、文献与网络调研方法,总结哈佛大学开放获取发展的基本状况与工作机制,认为我国高校可以在顶层设计、基础设施、教育引导等方面借鉴其有益经验.同时,我国高校图书馆要从容应对开放获取的各类方案,注重人员接续与团队建设,以掌握学术开放交流的主导权,推进本机构学术成果的开放共享.
Open Access for Scholarly Communication:Implication from Harvard University Open Access Paradigm
Universities,known as important hubs for academic achievements,have carried out many practical explorations on Open Access in recent years.Harvard University,a global leader in high-quality academic achievements,has had fruitful experiences in promoting Open Access,which has formed a certain international influence.Through semi-structured interviews,literature and network research methods,the article summarizes Harvard University's experience in the development of Open Access in terms of history,system construction,mechanism operation,and multiple guarantees.The article argues that Chinese uni-versities could learn from its experience in terms of top-level design,infrastructure,education,and guid-ance,meanwhile be prepared to deal with various methods and paths of Open Access.From that way,uni-versities could better grasp the dominant role of academic communication and promote openly sharing of ac-ademic achievements.
