Abstract
The article summarizes Mr.Han Rongyu's outstanding contributions to the contemporary Western language cataloging work in China,including addressing historical issues in cataloging,promoting international cataloging standards,carrying out cataloging standardization,restoring and improving Western language subject catalogs,and training catalogers.
