The 20th Anniversary of CASHL & the Seminar on the High-quality Development of Foreign Social Science and Humanities Literature System was successfully held on April 25,2024,in Fudan University. Over 190 participants,including delegates of the Social Sciences Division of the Ministry of Education and guests,scholars,library directors,and librarians from 94 domestic universities and cooperative institutions,attended the conference. The conference reviewed the 20-year history of CASHL,analyzed the changes and needs of humanities and social sciences disciplines,discussed the opportunities and challenges of high-quality development,and sought a new paradigm and a new path for the construction of foreign humanities and social sciences literature system.The article summarizes the academic achievements and cutting-edge issues shared by the experts during the conference,providing theoretical inspiration and guidance for high-quality development of foreign humanities and social sciences literature system.
