Promoting the Cultural Cultivation Function of University Library with High Quality Through Cooperation Mechanism
Fostering virtue through education is the fundamental task of higher education in the new era,and cultural cultivation is an important approach to achieve this goal.The library is an important cultural facility on campus,with inherent cultural and educational attributes,as well as unique carrier advantages and humanistic influence,which has a strong sense of cultural identity and value belonging among readers.University libraries should consciously fulfill the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education and shoulder the major mission of cultural cultivation.Cultural cultivation is a complex systematic project that requires multi-dimensional cooperation mechanisms and multi-party collaboration to integrate various resources and form a unified educational force to achieve good results.However,the cultural cultivation of university libraries lacks cooperation mechanisms and overall planning,and is currently in a scattered and disordered state,failing to play its role in the educational system of universities.This paper uses methods of literature review,online survey,case analysis,and textual analysis to systematically sort out and clarify the basic connotation and implementation path of university library cultural cultivation.Based on the theory of synergy and the intermediary agent attributes of libraries,it expounds the necessity and feasibility of establishing a cooperation mechanism for cultural cultivation.Around the two logical lines of"top-level design-specific practice"and"library internal-library external",this paper puts forward a practice scheme for the cooperation mechanism of cultural cultivation.Firstly,from the perspective of top-level design,integrating the library into the core educational system of the university;Secondly,coordinating internally and externally to establish multi-dimensional cooperation mechanisms,jointly cultivating cultural cultivation forces on campus and in society,based on the"big resources"and building the"big platform"to achieve the"big results".Specifically,we will establish a special cultural cultivation coordination agency within the library to coordinate and plan cultural education work,integrate various elements of cultural cultivation within the library,and form a multi-element linkage mechanism to innovate educational approaches and create a three-dimensional cultural cultivation platform.We will establish a cross-departmental coordination agency on campus to break down barriers between departments and colleges,expand the spatial,talent,intellectual,and management resources for cultural cultivation,and create distinctive cultural cultivation projects or activities.And finally we will tap into external resources by extensively cooperating with social institutions to achieve the integration of internal and external resources,thereby enhancing the library's cultural cultivation capabilities and outcomes.
