Defect Analysis and Quality Improvement of Hydrogenated Shell Section
Based on the anatomical and statistical analysis of the defects in hydrogenated cylindrical shell, combined with the numerical simulation reduction to the position of steel ingot, smelting process analysis and field investigation,it is concluded that the defects of the hydrogenated cylindrical shell are mainly caused by the impurity of molten steel in refining process and the secondary oxidation during pouring process. The targeted smelting process improvement and process control measures are put forward. After the application of the measures, the quality of hydrogenated cylindrical shell is significantly improved, which can meet the needs of users in high-quality forging for cylindrical shell.
