30Cr1Mo1V rotor is the core component of steam turbine unit,and the ingot is usually produced by double vacuum melting method and forged into product.By analyzing the technical difficulties in the production of ingot by atmospheric casting,control measures such as enhancing vacuum capacity,prolonging vacuum holding time and optimizing pouring protection are put forward,and production practices are carried out.The results show that,compared with the traditional rotor forgings produced by double vacuum steel ingots,the atmospheric casting process can meet the technical requirements,and the production efficiency is improved and the production cost is reduced.
