Experimental Study on Application of Tempering Bead Technique in Repair Welding of Heavy Forging
The temper bead technique,nondestructive test after welding and the mechanical property test of the welded joint of heavy forging are introduced.Half bead technique of temper bead technique is applied in welded joint of 20CrMnTi forged steel.Good microstructure is obtained by reasonable weld bead arrangement and proper welding heat treatment.The tensile and impact properties of the welded joint can meet the standard requirements.Half bead technology can provide feasible technological measures for the repair of forgings or castings not applicable to annealing conditions.
