The stress-hydrogen diffusion sequential coupling analysis model is established to simulate the stress distribution, hydrogen charging and hydrogen escaping process during the service and unloading of M56 high strength bolts based on the finite element software. Through calculation, the stress distribution of the bolt under the action of pretension force and the transient distribution law of hydrogen inside the bolt are obtained. By comparing the influence of stress on the results of hydrogen diffusion,it can be found that under the action of stress, hydrogen diffusion accumulates in the tensile stress area. The hydrogen content of the bolt is measured, and the results show that the simulated value is basically consistent with the distribu-tion law of the measured value, which verifies the accuracy of the simulation process.
