Industrial Structure Upgrading and Tourism Efficiency:Based on Inter-provincial Panel Data from 2003 to 2022
Selects the panel data of regional industrial structure optimization and upgrading and tourism efficien-cy of 30 provinces in China mainland except Xizang from 2003 to 2022,and tests the rationalization,optimization and tourism efficiency of industrial structure through SPDM model.The results show that:(1)The distribution of indus-trial structure optimization and upgrading level in China's four major regions from high to low is the eastern,central,western and northeastern part;the tourism efficiency of the four regions from high to low is the eastern,northeastern,central and western,indicating that the tourism development in the western part still has a very significant upward space and potential.(2)In the spatial correlation characteristics of industrial structure optimization and upgrading and tourism efficiency,the spatial autocorrelation of industrial structure rationalization is very significant,the indus-trial structure advancement has significant spatial dependence,and the tourism efficiency shows a nationwide agglom-eration trend.Local spatial correlation characteristics between industrial structure optimization and upgrading and tourism efficiency has a significant spatial autocorrelation,and the clustering model is mainly high or low.(3)Tourism efficiency is significantly promoted by the rationalization of industrial structure and the positive spatial spillover effect.Tourism efficiency is affected by control variables such as economic development,urbanization rate,tourism re-source endowment,basic traffic conditions,number of tourism elements,degree of informatization,and market capacity,and there are differences to varying degrees.
