Evolutionary Characteristics of Innovation Networks in Strategic Emerging Industries and Their Influencing Factors:Taking the Industrial Robot Industry in Guangdong Province as an example
Taking the strategic emerging industries as an example, this study explored the spatial and tempo-ral evolutionary characteristics of the innovation network structure of the industrial robotics industry in Guangdong Province from 2000 to 2020 and the influence of multidimensional proximity on its formation and evolution. It is found that the innovation activities of industrial robotics industry in Guangdong Province have experienced the bud-ding and initial stage, the scale expansion stage and the high-speed development stage in turn. The industrial inno-vation network shows the evolution process from simple and low-level to complex and high-level,and the network nodes gradually change from"Foshan+Shenzhen"as the main core nodes to"multi-nodes"synergistic develop-ment.Geographic proximity, technological proximity and institutional proximity have sustained positive effects on the evolution of collaborative innovation networks in the industrial robotics industry in Guangdong Province, and the interaction among the three types of proximity affects collaborative innovation activities in this industry to a much greater extent than single proximity.
