Analysis on Relationship between Landscape Value Perception and Tour Routes from the Perspective of PPGIS:A Case Study of Shichahai Historical and Cultural Block in Beijing
Tour route is the core spatial element for tourists to experience the environment and gain percep-tion,and landscape value is the"bridge"between environment and perception. The method of public participatory mapping is introduced to explore the relationship between landscape value perception and tour route. The results show that:(1)The main tour routes of tourists are affected by natural elements, and tourists are more inclined to choose the tour routes with few scenic spots but fine ones.(2)Tourists pay more attention to historical and cultural value.(3)Different landscape characteristics will affect tourists'perceptions of landscape value:the perception of economic value is affected by commercial layout, and the perception of learning value is affected by museum-like attractions.(4)The value rating of tourists to some scenic spots will increase the value rating of tourists to the route where the scenic spot is located. The results of this study are useful in describing tourists'space preferences,accu-rately capturing tourists'perceptions of value from micro perspectives, and providing insights for the research of hu-man-environment interaction.
