Study on Spatial Distribution Characteristics of Public Service Facilities in County Towns of Jiangsu Province
Selecting 45 county-level units in Jiangsu Province,the urban areas of each county were delineated through administrative districts and land use remote sensing data.Based on POI data of six types of public service facilities including medical,education,leisure,transportation,catering,and finance,the public service facility al-location capacity of county towns in Jiangsu Province was evaluated using kernel density ratio,standard deviation ellipse,Shannon diversity index,accessibility analysis,and entropy method.The results show that:(1)Among the six types of public service facilities in the county,the configuration of educational facilities is the most scat-tered,and the configuration of catering facilities is the most concentrated;(2)The agglomeration effect of public service facilities in counties in the northern region is stronger;(3)The distribution of high-value areas with mixed functions of public service facilities within the county town is relatively concentrated;(4)The configuration level of various public service facilities in the county town is high in the south and low in the north,with regional differ-ences in distribution types that are consistent with the level of economic development.
