The emergence of GenAI has exacerbated the conflicts in Hollywood's evaluation of creative labor value and significantly impacted the structure,demand,and competition in the entertainment labor market.While actors and writers strike to defend their interests,studios are intensifying their recruitment for Al positions.This shift has enriched the meaning of creative labor,making the previously invisible"patchwork"of technical labor more visible.However,considering the current labor agreements between WGA,SAG-AFTRA,and AMPTP,and the structure of U.S.legal frameworks,achieving a balance between protecting creative workers'rights and the reasonable use of GenAI remains a significant challenge.
