The distributed conformal array antenna can make full use of the carrier space,and can realize wide angle scanning,which has broad application prospects.Aiming at the nonlinear optimization problem of pattern synthesis of distributed conformal arrays,a low sidelobe pattern synthesis method of distributed conformal arrays is proposed based on improved water circulation algorithm.Firstly,the polarization pattern model of conformal arrays with arbitrary surfaces is es-tablished.Then,the improved water circulation algorithm is applied to the distributed conformal arrays composed of cylinders and cones to reduce the main polarization sidelobe while suppress-ing the cross polarization level.The polarization pattern synthesis of distributed conformal array is realized,and the convergence result is better than that of real coded genetic algorithm.The effec-tiveness of this method is verified by simulation experiments.
