Design of Envelope Tracking Power Supply Based on GaN Devices
This paper describes that Aiming at the problem of reduced energy efficiency caused by the fixed voltage of the half-bridge D-class audio power amplifier being higher than the actual required voltage,a bipolar symmetric output audio envelope tracking power supply based on GaN devices and a full-bridge LLC resonant converter is proposed. The power supply uses a mixed control strategy of frequency modulation and phase shifting to achieve a wide voltage output range. The system is modeled and analyzed using the extended function description method, and the system is optimized and closed-loop compensation design is carried out to achieve a high-bandwidth and stable system.Simulation results show that the proposed envelope tracking power supply can accurately track the variation of the reference voltage and maintain the stability and accuracy of the output waveform in different frequency and amplitude ranges.
