Abstract
This paper describes the design of an automatic positioning system for engineering surveying robots based on GIS and GPS technology.The software system design is divided into the development of GPS and GIS electronic positioning maps,the classification and conversion of GPS and GIS coordinates,and the implementation of precise automatic positioning.Finally,conduct testing experiments and analysis.
