This paper expounds the application of Internet of Things technology in the monitoring of distribution network equipment.It analyzes the characteristics of Internet of Things technology and proposes a design scheme for a state monitoring system for distribution network equipment based on the Internet of Things.The scheme includes sensor layer,network layer,and platform layer to achieve intelligent monitoring of distribution equipment.
