This paper describes the issues of communication technology application in power grid operation and proposes optimization strategies,including the unified formulation of network technology standards,vigorous development of optical fiber and new communication technologies,and improvement of network protection and security,in order to optimize power grid operation,enhance overall efficiency and reliability.
