Design of K-Ka Band MMIC Broadband Passive Mixer Chip
This paper describes the design of a wideband passive mixer chip for K2Ka band MMIC.The chip adopts a passive double balanced mixer structure, and the local oscillator and RF baluns are spiral Marchand baluns. The key technical indicators have shown excellent performance, with a chip size of only 1.15mm×0.8mm×0.1mm,achieving miniaturization.By careful design and optimization, the mixer chip exhibits excellent performance such as low loss, high isolation, and high linearity over a wide frequency range, effectively meeting the demand for high-performance RF devices in modern communication and radar systems.
