This paper expounds the characteristics of digital twin technology in the application of smart wind farms.It introduces the application of digital twin technology in smart wind farms and establishes a smart operation and maintenance system for wind farms based on digital twin technology.It can be seen that the digital twin model is a meta model of real wind farms and digital wind farms,and information exchange can be achieved between the two.
