This paper expounds the methods of organizing and protecting ancient books in libraries under the background of digital reading,including strengthening database construction,digitizing bibliographic data and full-text data,digital identification and tamper proofing,in order to reduce frequent browsing and contact with ancient books,and reduce the risks of wear and tear and daily use.
