Design of a New Triangular Wave Generator Applied to D-class Power Amplifiers
This paper expounds the problem of poor symmetry and low linearity of the positive rise and negative attenuation of triangular wave signals in Class D audio amplifiers.Using the Mutisum simulation tool, the charging and discharging circuit of the triangular wave generator composed of 555 is improved and optimized by adding diodes, variable resistors, and introducing a constant current source.A triangular wave generation circuit that meets the parameter requirements of Class D audio amplifiers is designed, and a practical application circuit is formed to improve the symmetry and linearity of the positive rise and negative attenuation of triangular wave signals.
