Abstract
This paper expounds the characteristics of artificial intelligence technology in power system relay protection,introduces the application of expert systems,including self detection and alarm of protection devices,monitoring and intervention of switch displacement,analysis and reporting of fault data,as well as genetic algorithms,fuzzy theory,and intelligent technology applications.
