粮食安全构成一国正常运转的必要条件和普遍特征,是衡量个体获得营养且充足食物能力的重要指标,对人类生存发展和社会延续至关重要.粮食安全成为全球关注的焦点,消除饥饿成为全球粮食安全议程的核心,人工智能在解决这一问题方面展现出独特优势.工业 4.0 时代以来,人工智能在助力粮食生产、保障粮食质量、优化粮食供应等方面发挥关键作用,为实现《联合国 2030 年可持续发展议程》中的"零饥饿"目标作出突出贡献.尽管人工智能为回应全球粮食安全提供了切实可行的解决方案,但仍面临着技术普及与受众接受程度、数据安全与用户隐私问题,以及气候变化视角下人工智能支撑作用局限等主要挑战.人工智能助力农业生产、回应气候变化取决于人工智能的使用方式和应用范围,因此健全人工智能赋能战略、完善人工智能技术创新、强化人工智能赋能应用成为回应全球粮食安全的路径依赖.
Artificial Intelligence Empowers Global Food Security:Current Situation,Challenges and Responses
Food security constitutes a necessary condition and universal feature for the normal operation of a country.It is an important indicator of indi-vidual ability to obtain nutritious and sufficient food.It is crucial to human survival,development and social continuity.Food security has become the focus of global attention,and eradicating hunger has become the core of the global food security agenda.Artificial intelligence has shown unique advan-tages in solving this problem.Since the era of Industry 4.0,artificial intelligence has played a key role in assisting food production,ensuring food qual-ity,and optimizing food supply,making outstanding contributions to achieving the"Zero Hunger"goal in The United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustain-able Development.Although artificial intelligence provides practical solutions to respond to global food security,it still faces major challenges such as weak technology popularization and less public acceptance,data security and user privacy protection,and the limited function in dealing with climate change.The way of using AI and the application scope of AI assist agricultural production and respond to climate change.Therefore,improving artifi-cial intelligence empowerment strategies,improving artificial intelligence technology innovation,and strengthening artificial intelligence empowerment applications have become the paths in response to global food security.
