Overview,Progress and Future Prospects of ESG Research
As a key decision-making activity to promote the simultaneous improvement of economic and social benefits,ESG has become a hot topic in academic research at home and abroad.However,systematic review of ESG related research topics and mechanisms is still lacking,especially the lack of an overall,comprehensive and systematic ESG research integration system.In view of this,this paper clearly defines the connotation of ESG.By searching and screening high-level ESG related literature at home and abroad,it uses bibliometric analysis to sort out and describe the overall overview of ESG literature.Further,this paper explores the theoretical basis of existing ESG research in depth,classifies and analyzes the focus issues of ESG research based on the logic of"precursor/aftereffect and its mechanism of action",and builds an integrated ESG research system,including research theme,research method and theoretical basis.Based on the review of the existing ESG literature in terms of research samples,research data,research methods and research content,the possible future research directions in this field are put forward accordingly.This paper systematically summarizes and enriches the theoretical basis and framework system of ESG,which is of great significance to further promote the in-depth study of ESG.
