Coal mine safety accident configuration based on 24Model and csQCA
Coal mine accidents pose a serious threat to personal safety and the surrounding environment. In order to study the causal factors of coal mine safety accidents,26 typical coal mine accident cases with real data and clear accident causes were collected and screened, and the causal factors of coal mine safety acci-dents were extracted from five dimensions, namely, unsafe behaviours, unsafe objects, habitual behav-iours,safety management system, and safety culture, using the 24Model accident causal model, and ana-lysed through the method of clear-set qualitative comparative analysis(csQCA).The study indicates that combining the 24Model with csQCA to analyze the configuration of coal mine safety accidents reveals mul-tiple concurrent causal relationships between the causal factors and the accidents. There are six typical con-figurations,which can be summarized as lax management of coal mine units, lack of enterprise safety cul-ture construction, low awareness of staff, and heterogeneity of organisational safety behaviours;and the mechanism of coal mine accidents has been analysed according to the characteristics of the various configu-rations.The mechanism of coal mine accidents is analysed according to the characteristics of various con-figurations,which can provide countermeasures and suggestions for coal mine production and manage-ment,and promote the development of safety and economic benefits in the coal mine industry.
