Identification of potential landslide hazards in Chengguan Town,Ziyang County
Landslide hazard is one of the main geological hazards in Chengguan Town,Ziyang County, where the slope units with potential landslide hazard but not yet landslide hazard poses a great threat to the lives and property safety of residents.Chengguan Town,Ziyang County was taken as the study area, according to its environmental conditions and administrative division, the study area was divided into 530 slope units, and transient rainfall infiltration and grid based regional slope-stability(TRIGRS)model was used to sim-ulate the stability coefficient of each slope unit under the maximum hourly rainfall intensity(50.7 mm/h)in 2022.According to the stability coefficient of the slope unit,it is divided into extremely low stability, low stability, high stability and basic stability area. The results show that there are 193 slope units with an area of 48.21 km2 in the extremely low stability area and 223 slope units with an area of 50.93 km2 in the low stability area. The author believes that there is a potential risk of landslide hazard in this type of slope unit, and 58 of them have had landslide hazards, accounting for 13.94%.In addition,358 slope units have poten-tial landslide hazards, but there are no landslide hazards in the study area.So it is necessary to focus on mo-nitoring and prevention. The results of this study can provide theoretical support for the hazard prevention and mitigation work of local governments.
