Safety analysis of transmission tower-line system in landslide area considering SSI
In order to explore the influence of slope deformation on the safety of transmission tower-line system, taking the tower-line system of UHV transmission line located on the landslide as the research object, bases on the finite element numerical calculation method, with consideration of the influence of tower-line coupling, the soil-structure interaction(SSI),and the degree and direction of slope deformation, this paper established a over-all finite element model for transmission tower-line system, and explored the response law of the stress charac-teristics of the tower-line system to slope deformation, and put forward two monitoring parameters that can be used to evaluate the safety of transmission lines in landslide areas, namely the displacement of tower leg support and the change value of tower leg root opening. The results show that under typical slope deformation, the fail-ure of the upper tower-line system is marked by the yield of the first cross-partition,the principal and cross-diagonal members near the suspension point of the conductor. The angle of slope deformation has little effect on the failure characteristics of the tower line system, but has a significant impact on its ability to resist slope defor-mation;overall,the capacity of the tower system to bear slope deformation with a certain inclination angle is far less than that of horizontal surface deformation, most of which can only bear 70%~80%of the deformation of tower leg support under horizontal surface deformation and only bear about 60%of the deformation of tower leg support under horizontal surface deformation under tensile condition, which can provide guidance for the safety prevention and control of transmission towers in landslide areas.
